Everymorning he takes a make up very early around Micklegate Bar . He also makes anew friend on his journey to York , England . Dan is 15 years older . Joe Stanton Joe is a cab driver . He and Dan become really comfortably friends . Joeis an old but wise man in many slipway . He also takes Dan to see all the sites inYork and drives all the tribe around , but mostly the people staying at theHotel . Ambrose Faw He was the attractor in the Faw family . He and Joe are also very profound friends and they look at known each other for almost the whole lives . travel Rose was married to Ambrose and had four kids . She is also a psychiclike her breed . She is a very kind person . Nat Nat was Ambroses son . He wants to leave the gypsy clan and haveadventures when he grows up . He and Da n become good friends and Natshows Dan around their camp . Nat also keeps bothering Dan because hewants to divvy up for Dans smash , but Dan verbalise no because it is the only belt hebrought with him . In the end they end up trading in any case . Jasper He is Ambroses oldest son . He is also a deaf-and-dumb person , but he could talk whenhe was younger . One twenty-four hours he came running out of the woods scared and nevertalked once more . Dan sometimes hears him singing in the woods . When he toldJoe he said it was more like a chant . Dan has also seen Jasper turn into a typeof monster with lime-green hair . Jasper is always staring at Dan .Orlenda Orlenda is Nats older sister , she is often looking at Dan . Hergrandmother thinks that she is exit to run away with a gorgio . Thegrandmother considers Dan a gorgio . She barely dialogue to him but they arealways near each other . granny the granny is Roses mother and she can tell the incoming . She believesthat everyone o f the gypsies have a special power . She also knew exactlywhen she was vent to die and she was right . Rachel Rachel is the youngest of Roses children and doesnt do practically in the bear but help around with the little things .Mr. Roberts He is Dans dad . All through the oblige he is acting verystrangely on the entire tripMrs. Roberts She is Dans mommy , she is also acting very strangely and her andher husband are kee... ... into the soldiers fronthe turned Joe .They were both dripping with sweat and they sat in that location andtalked until sunrise . In the moring the other gypsy clan came and theyfinished the funeral and destroy the grannys things . After Dan and Joe atethey left field because Joe knew that they wanted to be alone . On the way homeDan told Joe about how he dictum Ambrose in the tower and that he was gettingsoil . Then Joe told Dan that the old woman wasnt born in thegardens(Museum Gardens).Before Dan had left the camp he traded his beltwith Nat for an old Romany coin . That was the last day Dan was in York .When he got back to the hotel he took a shower then went to remainder . When hisParents got back They all packed and left . That night Ambrose went to thehotel and asked for Dan but Mrs. Harrison told him that they left . AfterAmbrose left the hotel he went to the stream and threw Dans belt in thedeepest part of the water . That is how the book ends .VII. This was a really good book . There were some boring parts , but most ofit was good . There were some really good parts in this book , and there werealot of adventurous parts . I think the ending is very confusing .
